Get an Instant Valuation now.

Trying to sell a car take a look at this service that is available to the seller webuyanycar.com, this service is very easy to use.

The only thing is that the seller will need for an instant online valuation is information on the car they are trying to sell. Some things that will be asked include the number plate, year, make and model type. Then select get quote this will take the seller to the next step. Next the user will need to choose the series now options to select the body style and engine style will be available then choose next.

Now a page appears with many items to fill in such as car color the miles on the car and also the mechanical and interior conditions of the car following that it will ask about the cars history. The last two things is to select the postal code and then the seller needs to enter their email address. Then click next and it will now calculate the approximate amount that the company will give for your car. Here it gives the seller the option to try and make an appointment however there is no obligation to make the appointment if the seller just wants to get an idea how much the vehicle is worth.

An email will also then be sent to the email address that the seller provides at the time of getting an online quotation. This is a great way to see how much that car may be worth. This concludes the basic procedure on how to use the webuyanycar.com service which comes highly recommended.

Car drivers who use their cars for work travel are often unaware that they have to have their own insurance cover. If you are driving on a work journey, something other than just travelling to and from work, then you will need to make sure that your car insurance covers you for business travel.

Many companies expect employees to travel between sites on to customer sites for meetings and things like that. They might be visiting customers on business sites or at their houses, travelling to other branches for meetings or even going to the post office or running other errands. All of these things would be considered to be business journeys.

If you are involved in a car accident while you are driving the car for a work purpose, then it is possible that your insurance will not cover you. It can be very simple to just telephone them and ask for this sort of cover. It does not always cost any extra either, but that will depend on how many journeys you make and how long they are.

You may feel that no one will know, but it will just take one slip of the tongue or someone else telling them and you could be having to pay for expensive car repairs yourself and this could include any damage that you do to another vehicle as well as your own. It really isn’t worth the risk and stress.

The London riots which have spread to many other cities and towns in the UK have often seen damage to cars as well as property. A lot of cars have been burned and destroyed as well as others having windscreens smashed and other damage done to them.

Owners of these cars may just assume that they can claim the damage on tehir insurance policy, but it will actually depend on tehir specific policy. Not all insurance policies will cover this sort of damage and so some car owners may find that they are not entitled to get any money at all.

It is important to make a claim as soon as possible. It may be difficult to think about making a claim when you might be in shock about what has happened. However, some insurance companies have rulings on how soon a claim must be made and if it is not made on time, then you may find that they will not pay out. This will be the case if the vehicle is only covered under the third party, fire and theft cover and so it is important to get in touch with your insurers as soon as possible to check the details.

If your insurance does not cover you, then it may be possible to be able to make a claim to the police through the Riots (Damages) Act 1886 but you will have to make that claim within 14 days of the damage being caused. There has been a request for this time period to be extended, but it is best just to get on and make the claim as soon as you can.

Londoners are being urged to think about how they are going to travel during the Olympic Games. It is expected that there will be an extra three million trips taking place in London on the 3rd August 2012 which in addition to the 12 million taken on a normal week day on public transport. This is the day when the very popular track and field events will be starting.

Londoners are therefore being advised to think of alternative ways to travel in the capital. They government has requested that those people who commute in London should think about alternative methods of travel. Those who are living close to tehir destination are being asked to walk or cycle in order to cut down on congestion on the roads and public transport. Those that do not have this as an option are being requested to consider video commuting, working from home or travelling outside of peak travel times and possibly using alternative routes.

Commercial vehicle operators have also been told that they should have a knowledge of what parts of the roads will be being used for Olympic travel so that they can plan alternative routes of possible. They will need to aware of road closures as well as whether there will be restrictions on loading in certain areas. It has been requested that this information be available by the end of the year so that the relevant bodies can plan properly for this time and they can avoid problems occurring during this busy travel period.

Ecotricity, a Stroud based green energy supplier has installed 12 charging stations for electric cars in Welcome Break service stations across the country. They plan to put an additional 17 in before the end of the year.

This is great news because at present there are very few charging stations at the moment, which means that electric car owners cannot travel long distances. This means that it may encourage more drivers to buy electric cars, as they will know that they can charge en route.

The charging stations can charge at two different speeds. The lowest current allows cars to charge up overnight, which will be useful if the driver is staying in one of the hotels near the service station. However, newer cars can be charged much more quickly and there is also a facility for this so that those whcih can, will be able to top up in 20 minutes or fully charge in an hour.

It is hoped that sales of electric cars will increase because there will be less fears about the distance that can be driven by them. However, there are still some green authorities that are worried about the electric cars because they are not sure that they are as green as the batteries are not nice to dispose of. However, they are the only solution at the moment to a cleaner car which causes less pollution and in theory can run on green energy if they are topped up by electric produced by solar power or other green sources of electricity.

A group of MP’s have suggested that the money collected in fuel duty on petrol and diesel sales, should b used to reduce the prices of public transport.

The suggestion was put forward by the Environmental Audit Committee who said that green taxes are seen by the public as a way of just having an excuse to take more money from the tax payer. They suggest that if the money is used to make environmentally friendly transport alternatives, such as public transport, then people would see that the money was not just a money raising feat.

A report has been put together on the environmental impact of the budget and says that cutting a penny from fuel duty was a poor move when there were no incentives offered for people to use alternative

s to driving which are better for the environment.

They also stated that they felt the recent air passenger duty changes would make no difference to emissions by aircraft.

Green issues have always been seen as just another way of taxing people. However, the government has done things to improve the environmental awareness of the country and supported green projects. however, they do need to show the tax payer how they are doing this and how much money they are spending on it, so that they can see that there green tax is being spent in a way that will improve the environment. The problem with the way things are done is that it seems the government has a large pot of money and all tax goes in it and all spending goes out so you cannot see whether the tax of certain items is enough to fund certain things or not.

The public sector strike action being taken by some union members could have a big effect on travellers tomorrow. Immigrations officers will be striking and so anyone entering the UK may find they are delays, whether they are arriving by plane or ferry. It has been confirmed that Eurostar will not be effected.

There have been recent reports to show that more people are using public transport, but anything which causes any sort of delay can give them a bad reputation. Trains and planes are often known for delays and the strikes on the London Underground recently and some problems with certain trains because of damaged power lines, would not fail to have been noticed by the public,

With increasing fuel prices, this is a good time where public transport companies should be working hard to encourage people to use their services and try to tempt them in to forming a habit of using it all the time. If a cheap solution for drivers comes along, perhaps when electric cars become cheaper or things like that, then people may switch to them. However, if they are enjoying the advantages of public transport, then they may not want to go back. There are many advantages such as being more comfortable and relaxing and being able to work while travelling or perhaps sleep or just relax. Sometimes the journeys can be quicker and cheaper as well.

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has been warned that if he does not come up with a good plan on tackling congestion in the city centre, he may face gridlock. The London Assembly have put together a report which predicts that transport issues need a more dynamic approach.

The mayor, has predicted in the past that traffic delays will increase over the next 20 years by 20%, but if measures were taken this could be reduced to 14%. It has also been reported that this is a top priority for him. However, the report has called for updated projections for congestion and a more detailed response.

Transport for London have put forward a lane rental proposal but that needs to be looked in to in more detail, especially where with regards to the costs. It proposes that utility companies are charged for digging up roads and they have to apply for the permit. Concerns were over how this cost would be passed on to customers by the utility companies. Most committee members also called for more priority to be given to sustainable transport such as bikes, walking, public transport and traffic which is important to the economy such as freight transporters.

A spokesperson for the mayor explained that he was already working on tackling problems such as having a bicycle hire scheme which has proved to be successful and re phasing traffic lights to ease congestion. The mayor and Transport for London are investing billions to increase capacity on the roads, keep traffic flowing smoothly and upgrading things. They reported that delays had been reduced over the last year at traffic lights and road work disruption significantly decreased.

Facebook fans have helped police to recover a car which was taken from a racetrack in Wellingborough. The Team Japspeed 1JZ Subaru Impreza was taken from a car show being held at Santa Pod Raceway. The £80,000 car was eventually found in a garage near Maidenhead.

The car is capable of doing 180mph and is used for drifting, which is where cars do controlled slides around a track. It was undamaged but had its stickers removed as well as its bumper, rear spoiler and rear lights. Performance car fans had been tracking it and reporting their sighting of it on the Facebook fan page.

The fans were posting details of sightings as well as pictures of the car which had been started by thieves during the car show while it was left unattended. The car was disabled before being left but the thieves were able to get it going and drive it away. It was also caught on camera on the M25. The owner of Team Japspeed, whose drivers include Boyzone singer Shane Ward, was shocked at the theft, saying that he had always trusted people to respect the vehicle at shows of this type in the past and did not expect this sort of thing to happen when the car was left alone. His team were delighted that the car had been found, having expected it to never be seen again. The team were very grateful to the fans and the police for their response and being able to find the car within 24 hours. Four people were arrested.

The decision to reinstate the Bahrain Grand Prix has caused concern for a lot of drivers and teams. The decision was made to call off the event because of the political unrest in the country but it was decided last week, that the race would be going ahead again.

Many teams have written to the F1A to express tehir concerns about the race going ahead. If they all refuse to take part, then they will not be abl e to go ahead with the race. Although no one is against eventually having a race there, with the political situation still not resolved fully, it is a risk that most do not want to take.

It is a rule of F1A that no changes to arrangements can be made without the agreement of all the competitors. With so many of them against the decision then it should not go ahead, despite the vote of the F1A.

Drivers are also upset about the fact that the race was rescheduled to October, meaning that the India race that was due to take place then will be moved to December. This is a time when most drivers take tehir holidays and they will not be keen to have to race at this time.
